Place I miss the most!
In 2010, my dad got based in the United States for a year so it meant going there every other month from Manila for him. It was also the same year the oil rig exploded at the Gulf of Mexico and his crew was there to send help. A few months into the oil spill accident, he then decided it was perfect timing to bring my mom along for a vacation because it was the month of their wedding anniversary. I was lucky I was unemployed and currently doing nothing that I convinced my dad to buy me a ticket, too. Haha. This was the time I discovered something new: I can double myself as a travel agent because I was such a good scout for air tickets (from West-East Coast), and accommodations (My dad opted to stay in hotels most of the time since he didn’t want to bother our relatives anymore) that had the 3 things I was looking for: location, comfort, and a good price.
You can only count on one hand the number of countries I’ve been to, so it was definitely one for the books. I think I’m becoming the type who’d scrimp on non-important things so I can always save, and I mean saaaaaveeeeeee for travel use.  I really would love to go back there soon.
